This was one of my training sessions last week before I hurt my back.

It’s keeping me focused and positive right now, I am desperately wanting to get back to it!

I am currently training for the Great North Run and am trying to do more sessions at pace. I find this kind of training quite intense as it’s longer reps.

I did 3 x 1.67mile loops at average of 6.43mile pace. I would have liked to have done 4/5 but blimey I was busted!
I showed the elevations on my twitter last week. Basically all uphill for the first part and then down/undulating for the second.

My quote for the session:

  • If you want results you have to push yourself
  • If you want a challenge you have to set yourself one
  • If you want success you have to believe it
