Kelly speaks to Benita Kropman

This time I speak to Benita Kropman who I have know for 23 years! Benita was one of my earliest physios who I met when I first started going to Stellenbosch, South Africa to train. Having evolved her knowledge and understanding of the bodies functional needs, Benita now uses a technique called the Lyno Method. Benita Kropman, founder of the Lyno Method qualified as a physiotherapist at the UFS in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 1982. For the first 14 years of her career she focused mainly on sport therapy specifically on triathletes, track and field athletes and runners. In the mid 90’s, Benita shifted her focus to injury prevention and with the support of Dr. Ranel Venter, senior lecturer at the Human Movement Studies Department at the University of Stellenbosch, she developed the Lyno Method, a technique based on bio-mechanical balancing in order to break injury patterns. Here Benita talks about why the Lyno method is so effective and also puts me though the Bunkie test!
